Life Drawing event at The Golden Lion, Todmorden.
For experienced & novice artists alike, this relaxed arty social is a chance to use your chosen medium to capture the ultimate subject: an actual human person. Wine in one hand, charcoal in the other, slip away into this creative, mindful and utterly relaxing experience.
The Golden Lion
The Golden Lion is a pub reimagined, a community hub with a buzzing atmosphere. They are fully independant so can rewrite the book on how things are done. Gigs a plently, Thai food and of course beer.

Whats included?
- Art Materials: Drawing Boards, pencils, charcoal, paper and LOTS MORE are provided, however feel free to bring the materials you like to work with.
- Professional Nude Model, there will be many timed poses from 1min-15mins.
- Guidence, For the first few poses you will be guided through some playful drawing techniques. After this warm up, you'll be ready to explore your own artistic flare.
- Jazzy Jazz Playlist, A carefully curated and chilled out playlist.
Refreshments
Drinks and food available to buy at the bar.
Can't Draw?
You probably think you can't draw however, there are no rules to drawing! Whether its a stick person, an abstract or a perfectly proportioned literal piece. That's all OK. Be brave!
Who is HOP?
Lisa Payne / House Of Payne / HOP is your Life drawing with HOP, founder and host. As well as running Life Drawing sessions, Lisa designs bold and colourful art prints under the alias House Of Payne.

Accessibility
This is a 1st floor space with stair only access. We are looking for more accesible venues. Our Levenshulme and Ducie St and Scale Liverpool venues are wheelchair friendly.
Refund policy
We can't offer any exchanges or refunds if the event is going ahead on the date originally planned. You can however sell your tickets on to someone else.
If you wish to reschedule your session, please get in touch with us at least 3 days (72 hours) before the event to avoid your ticket(s) being suspended.
